The short version: Travel Coordination collects minimal data. If you contact us, we store your email and message to respond. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Declining sets no analytics cookies at all. We do not run advertising or sell data, and do not share information with third parties beyond the processors listed below.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Travel Coordination. We are the data controller for information collected through travelcoordination.com.

Contact: hello@travelcoordination.com. We respond within 30 days.

2. What we collect and why

Contact form and email enquiries. When you contact us via the site form or directly by email, we receive your name, email address, and message content. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list, which we do not currently operate.

Server logs (necessary, no consent required). Our hosting provider (Aruba.it, Italy) automatically logs IP addresses and request timestamps for security and stability. Retained for a maximum of 30 days.

Analytics. If you accept the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use this site: pages viewed, general location (country/city level), device type, and how you arrived here. Google Analytics is not loaded, and no analytics cookie is set, unless you accept. Declining means none of this happens. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or share this data for advertising purposes.

3. Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all until you make a choice in the cookie banner.

If you Accept: Google sets its standard Google Analytics cookies (typically _ga and _ga_<container-id>) to distinguish visitors and sessions. These last up to 2 years unless cleared sooner.

If you Decline (or don't choose): no analytics cookie is set. Only your choice itself is remembered, in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit.

You can change your mind at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page.

4. Legal basis

Contact enquiries: Legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Server logs: Legitimate interests, for secure operation of the site.

5. Third-party processors

Aruba.it: web hosting, Italy. Aruba Privacy Policy

Google Fonts: typography served from Google servers. Google Fonts Privacy FAQ

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): site usage analytics, only if you accept the cookie banner. Google Privacy Policy

We do not use advertising networks or social media tracking pixels.

6. Data retention

Contact emails: Retained as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry, then deleted.

Server logs: Maximum 30 days.

7. International transfers

If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics data may be processed by Google outside the EU/EEA. Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework apply as the transfer safeguard. Declining the cookie banner means no such transfer happens. We do not otherwise transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: request deletion where there is no legitimate reason to continue processing.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Email {CONTACT_EMAIL} to exercise any right. EU/EEA residents may also contact their local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the site evolves, most likely as we add analytics or new features. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
